The Man Who Killed Hitler and Then The Bigfoot: A movie that clearly exists because of the title pitch and Sam Elliot starring. And Sam Elliot is good, but this is a weird premise that never feels like it fully explores why it was even a premise in the first place. Boring B-movie. *3/4
The Unicorn: I think Lauren Lapkus is very good at acting and there are some solid cameos from Beck Bennett and Kyle Mooney. Otherwise this was kind of annoying. **1/4
The Kid Who Would Be King: A kids fantasy movie that they used to make a million of but don’t really anymore, so this stood out as more fun than the usual cynical kid-targeted movie, even if it lost me a bit. ***1/2
The Man Who Killed Don Quixote: I’m not positive that the journey it took to get this movie released was worth it. Some incredible set production, some strong acting, but yeesh. **1/2
The Upside: This is another movie with a little journey, sitting in post-production forever. I can only imagine the editing process it went through to not tank the careers of two guys who were, at the time of filming, major deals. It wants to be a heartfelt movie, but it just never works. Both guys have talent but it was not utilized or even right for this movie. Comparing to the original hurts it way more too. *3/4
