The Munsters: By all appearances this movie featuring characters from the ‘60s TV show was made with love, but it wasn’t really enjoyable to watch or anything. It was like every bad stereotype in my head about the quality of both Netflix movies and remakes started a tag team and that team won. *1/2
Downton Abbey: A New Era: The aristocracy was back for another run and these movie follow-ups have always really just been made-for-TV movies for the show’s devoted fans so that’s what this was. **
Entergalactic: At its’ core a romantic comedy, but the rest of this animated musical by Kid Cudi and Kenya Barris felt like I was watching something completely new and different, with a tremendous soundtrack that kept the feelings moving. ****1/4
Meet Cute: Pete Davidson dates a time-traveling Kayley Cuoco, who wants him to be better. Some movies just get made sometimes. **
DC League of Super-Pets: I watched this with my son but it was so charming and genuinely well-plotted out that by the end – and before Black Adam was being promoted – I was convinced DC should just pivot to the Super-Pets as the leads of their Cinematic Universe. ****
