Irresistible: Jon Stewart directs Steve Carell and a phenomenal cast and they do a few good Stewart political bits wrapped inside a political movie that ultimately felt too easy and tone deaf. I hate calling this a missed opportunity but it is. **3/4
Palm Springs: Great balance between comedy and a not-so-complex sci-fi plot from Andy Samberg and his Lonely Island buds, with Cristin Milioti again being a star and JK Simmons providing all that he does. Loved this. ****1/2
John Lewis: Good Trouble: What a brilliant man and touching documentary, part biography and part tribute. ****
Greyhound: This is a very basic sort of awesome submarine action movie, mostly guys going “aye aye captain” to Tom Hanks. I liked it. ***
Radioactive: Rosamund Pike can act but this sucks, lots of accents and nothing that makes the inevitable more compelling than the Wikipedia article is. *1/2
