Blow the Man Down: Just a good old-fashioned small town crime film, with all kinds of crime and secrets and crime and whatnot. Margo Martindale rules. ***
Onward: The most conventional Pixar movie I’ve ever seen, and that includes The Good Dinosaur. This is fun, occasionally awesome, but I can’t shake how by the books it was. ***
Tigertail: A movie to appreciate – the shots are gorgeous, the acting is quiet, and it doesn’t hit you until the very end. I want to say bravo for some reason. ****
The Banker: There is a whole lot of talking about numbers, but when this features the banter of Anthony Mackie and Samuel L. Jackson it gets real good. Heck of a story. ***1/4
Dolittle: Silly, unnecessary, embarrassing. Heck of a voice cast, but mailed in. C’mon, RDJ!! DUD
