Bombshell: A little straightforward, a little simple, and kind of generally frustrating. But a heck of a movie about a real piece of shit and the ladies that brought him down… well, at least brought him down so he could get a severance and escape judgment with death. Anyways. I’m biased – the acting and makeup jobs here really are incredible. Charlize Theron literally just is Megyn Kelly. Wild. ***1/4

Playing with Fire: Need to see this with my actual son when he becomes a three year old because that is the only demographic I can see getting anything out of this. Sorry, John – this sucked. Also, kind of disrespectful to smokejumpers? DUD
Jay and Silent Bob Reboot: I adored these movies as a teenager, but I’m not sure my guy Kevin Smith has much new to say. Despite being a little preachy, this keeps moving with ALL the cameos. It’s not good, but it’s also a fine tribute to this universe. **3/4
