KO covering for Flair’s mic not working was real smooth, otherwise this was Flair trotted out there again for a December house show. They can’t even mention Harley Race and Dusty anymore, my goodness. How is this so bad? What does it mean to try really hard at being lazy?
1. The Street Profits w/ Ric Flair vs. Gallows & Anderson
At this point I probably could’ve produced this one myself. Flair just stood still until the bell rang, which he responded to with clapping. It hurts. *1/2
2. Fatal 4-Way Match – RAW Women’s Tag Team Title: The Kabuki Warriors [c] vs. Becky Lynch & Charlotte Flair vs. Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross vs. Bayley & Sasha Banks
How does Becky Lynch look at an “I DON’T CARE ABOUT YOUR STUPID FEELINGS” slogan and go: yes, that is the shirt. Makes me question things. The match here had a whole lot of over acts and was helped along by it, but this Elite 8 having this match with this buzzkill finish is overall kind of depressing. **1/4
3. Kevin Owens vs. Bobby Lashley w/ Lana
Rusev didn’t show so he got counted out of a Last Man Standing Match with Lashley and then Kevin Owens showed up and wrestled Lashley in a normal match and then Rusev showed up and beat up Lashley. DUD
Useless show. 1/10
