1. Candice LeRae vs. Kay Lee Ray
Kay Lee Ray looked great here, totally game to beat the shit out of Candice LeRae and then flop all over the place to take her comeback. And Candice made a very fun comeback. **3/4
2. Piper Niven vs. Zelina Vega
Piper and Zelina having an Andre/Hogan staredown was awesome. And the match was fine, 5 minutes long and they kept a good pace. Got a point across, you know. *1/2
3. Io Shirai vs. Sonya Deville
WWE-style TV and developmental matches are usually about a person’s “thing,” those few signature things that are always expected in a match, and Io’s “thing” is better than most – you are promised some wild shit and you’re going to probably see it a hundred more times but it remains some wild shit. Sonya got more time to play here on offense than usual too, and it was half cool and half a real borin’ WWE TV beating. Then they got some real drama going at the end as they just kept bringing it to each other, providing the kick-based ass-kicking you want from these two. Sweet spear to end it by Sonya too. ***1/2
4. Triple Threat Match – NXT UK Women’s Tile: Toni Storm [c] vs. Nikki Cross vs. Bianca Belair
This was very much a Triple Threat Match, as I say nearly every time there’s a Triple Threat Match. They kept it moving and there wasn’t a whole lot of awkwardness and sometimes that’s all you can ask for. Nikki did her “I’ll trap you in the apron and beat your ass” Finlay spot with both her opponents at the same time and I thought that was pretty cool. Finish was a little anti-climatic. ***
