War Dogs: Fun movie with war profiteering and Jonah Hill hamming it up and Bradley Cooper being an animal. ***1/2
Power Rangers: It took WAY too much teen angst bullshit to get to the Morphin’. The last fight is fun, but yeesh – missed opportunity. *
Get a Job: This has a hell of a cast, but is a pretty silly Hollywood-bubble type movie, where our hero goes from bumbling slacker to a vice president at a company through his sheer charisma, all while lecturing the viewer. **1/4
Race: A solid sports biopic that hit all the right notes: struggle, emotion, exciting scenes, “what happened to everybody” right before the credits. Nice. ***1/4
Beauty and the Beast: Good set pieces, high quality nostalgia, but they forgot to keep the story fun. ***
