Suicide Squad: So, so bad. Why was Joker even involved? Why is Deadshot leader other than the fact that he is Will Smith? It’s like they had rights to a bunch of interesting characters and threw it all into one boring big budget effects-ridden movie. It’s like Guardians of the Galaxy without the heart. DUD

Swiss Army Man: Bizarre and funny, my favorite kind of thing. It’s like Castaway with farts. ****
Sully: Reliably good Clint Eastwood, reliably good Tom Hanks. The big plane scene is pretty incredible stuff. ***1/2
