Lion: The ending is the most emotionally awesome thing I have seen in a long time. It drags a bit in the middle but this is what you’d call a feel-good triumph. ***3/4
La La Land: A delightful musical and Emma Stone is a GOD, but wish they gave a little more reason to care about The Characters. ***3/4
Christine: Rebecca Hall is AWESOME. Fascinating story, real-life event, interesting characters, and at the end of the day it is kind of a biography of a news station. Wow. ****
Tower: A documentary that doubles as a thriller, just a total emotional rollercoaster. It feels like you’re in a war movie. I cried at the end. Incredible. ****1/2
Fire at Sea: An interesting and depressing look at the humans affected by the refugee crisis, but there are also a lot of long shots of eyeglass appointments and people eating spaghetti. **3/4
