There were a lot of technically solid matches this week – Miz vs. Zayn on RAW, Ryder vs. Corbin on Main Event, Usos vs. Gallows & Anderson and Cesaro/Zayn vs. Miz/Owens on SmackDown!.
But nothing is touching this Reigns vs. Styles feud, and a 6-man with their pals is your WWE TV Match of the Week for the second week in a row.
Hot crowds, snug work, fast pace, a story that is actually interesting and matters. Insert fire emoji here. These are fun matches with crowds just going apeshit for everything. Gallows has been especially impressive lately – moving around quick, throwing bombs, bumping huge. A far cry from Festus, and a farther cry from that weird era where he was wrestling on Superstars under his real name without Punk at his side.
It’s not surprising that this is so good, but it is surprising that WWE is running with it.
Hot angle after the match too, with Reigns and Styles both conflicted about using a chair on each other.
