Charlotte/Emma vs. Natalya/Becky and Aries vs. Dillinger were fine TV matches this week, but nothing is touching a couple 6-man tags from the hottest feud in wrestling.
There were two versions of this match this week: one a straightforward 6-man on RAW, and one a tag team match between The Usos and Gallows/Anderson that morphed into the same 6-man tag on SmackDown!.
Both were good – this feud has been fantastic so far. One of the most layered things WWE has done in forever, and the matches are great fun.
This was a hot match and what WWE should be doing all the time – 6-mans would lead to less wear and tear on the wrestlers and the matches, like this one, are great. Anderson and Gallows are clearly fired up for their big run and making the most of it. Anderson taking it to Reigns and the Usos is wonderful, and if Adam Rose isn’t going to be around then I am at least glad there’s another amazing spinebuster in WWE. The Reigns vs. Gallows Hoss War was incredible as well.
The Usos do their thing – they’re a competent tag team that occasionally borders on great, and these fast-paced matches make the most of their shtick.
And then there’s AJ Styles, who’s the best guy wrestling on TV every week right now. Just matches up well with everybody.
The SmackDown! match had a few more shenanigans but was really just as fun as this. OOOOHHHHHWWAAAAAA
